Trenchless Pipe Lining

At Sewer Co., we believe our customers deserve the best pipeline repair solutions in the industry, and that’s why we specialize in trenchless pipe lining – the most cutting-edge, effective and efficient way to have your sewer pipes repaired.

What Is Trenchless Pipe Lining?

Trenchless sewer repair relies on a method called cured-in-place pipe lining that allows our company to create a new pipe inside a damaged pipe. In other words, instead of digging up a broken sewer line and replacing it entirely, we can re-line it.

The trenchless sewer pipe lining process starts by digging a small hole to access the existing pipe. With a specialized machine, our technicians will insert an epoxy-coated sleeve into the damaged pipe, then inflate it and leave it to dry. Within a few hours, the epoxy resin cures, bonding to the inside of the old pipe to create a new one.

The Advantages of Trenchless Pipe Lining

Why is pipe lining such an effective way to repair sewer lines? The secret is that the liner not only fixes existing problems but also prevents future damage from arising. The new liner seals all the leaks and cracks that were causing the old sewer line to underperform and restores the pipe’s structural integrity, while simultaneously eliminating pipe joints, which are the weakest points of any sewer line.

The joints in a sewer pipe are the parts of the line where each section connects to the one beside it. Tree roots are the biggest cause of damage to sewer pipes because they infiltrate these joints in search of moisture and nutrients, eventually cracking the pipes in the process. With a trenchless pipe liner, worries about root intrusion are a thing of the past. You will also not have to be concerned that seismic shifts in the earth surrounding the pipes will cause them to become cracked or offset.

Calcium deposits are another form of sewer line damage trenchless liners can eliminate. It’s impossible for the calcium to build up in pipes that are lined with epoxy resin, which leads to fewer clogs in the sewer system.

What our customers love most about the trenchless sewer pipe lining method is that, unlike with traditional dig-and-replace sewer repairs, there is no need to dig a trench through your yard or parking lot. For this reason, trenchless sewer repair takes considerably less time and money than the traditional excavation approach.
